A young woman was in serious condition after being hit by acid on a street in Jacarezinho, a city located 385 km from Curitiba, in the Paraná. Identified as Isabelly Aparecida Ferreira Moro, 23, the victim was attacked by an unknown person while returning from the gym on Wednesday (22). Footage released by security cameras shows the woman calling for help.
According to information from the Military Police (PM), the young woman suffered burns on her face, chest and mouth. To make matters worse, Isabelly swallowed a part of the substance, aggravating her health condition. After being taken to the local hospital, she was referred to the University Hospital of Londrina (HU).

Barber Décio Silva was responsible for taking the victim to the hospital. “I picked up the girl, put her in the car and took her to the hospital. She couldn’t speak at all. I don’t know her, but I hope she recovers. God willing, she’ll get out of this,” he said in an interview with G1.
According to the PM, the suspect was wearing a wig and has not yet been identified. “Surveillance cameras are being checked. The assailant wore a wig. For now, there are no suspects,” police chief Tristão Borborema told G1.
