Still recovering from a serious injury to his left knee, Neymar has been the protagonist of moments of relaxation in the daily life of Al-Hilal. The most recent episode that shows the extroverted environment experienced by the striker was a joke between him and teammate Renan Lodi.
Recently, the Brazilian left-back decided to get ready for Neymar, took a pair of sneakers from the striker and tied a knot in the shoelaces. The star of the Brazilian national team, in turn, did not let it come cheap. To “discount” the joke, Neymar punctured one of the tires of Renan Lodi’s car.
Through social networks, Neymar also sent a message to the full-back. The striker posted a photo in which Lodi appears with the sneakers he was “a victim” of the prank and wrote the following caption: “One day of the hunt, another of the hunter. We’re even, Renan Lodi.”
Neymar tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee and underwent surgery in early November last year.
The play that caused Neymar’s injury happened on October 17, during the Brazilian team’s match against Uruguay, valid for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. On that occasion, the striker ended up locking his left leg on the ground, shortly after a clash with midfielder De La Cruz.
The expectation is that Neymar will return to the pitch in about three or four months.
