A game valid for the Argentine second division had moments of chaos last weekend. The duel between Atlético Rafaela and Aldosivi was marked by the very serious injury of a player, three expulsions, exchanges of punches and general confusion.
It all started when, at the end of the match, Atlético Rafaela’s Julián Fuyana made a strong tackle on Franco Godoy. Because of the move, the Aldosivi athlete suffered a double fracture in his leg and will have to be away from the field for a long period. The foul eventually resulted in Fuyana being sent off (see play below).

With the match still in progress but already in stoppage time, the mood got even worse when Rodrigo González, Aldosivi’s right-back, had a disagreement with the opposing goalkeeper. After an altercation between the two, González landed a punch on the archer, triggering a general brawl (watch below).

The game ended 2-0 for Aldosivi, who are in third place in the Group B standings of the second division of Argentine football. Atlético Rafaela, on the other hand, is in second place.
