Two US volleyball players, who competed in the Paris Olympics, suffered a car accident in the French capital. Micha Hancock and Jordan Larson were aboard an app car, which crashed into a pole. Through social media, Hancock posted a photo showing the injuries she suffered. The athlete also published a text, giving more details of the accident.

“Okay, guys, here I am. Car accident after the conclusion of Paris 2024. My Uber driver crashed into a pole when we were on our way to the hotel after a night of team celebration. I’m glad Larson was there. She took care of me. Things happen fast, folks. Take care of yourselves and your family. Wear a seat belt. I definitely leave this happy to be alive. I suffered some injuries, but I will recover from them in months. My doctors are taking care of me,” wrote Micha Hancock.

Jordan Larson also made a point of going to the networks to reassure fans. Through a video, the player said she was fine, as well as everyone else involved in the accident. The athlete was left with a bruise next to her right eye, a lighter injury than her teammate, who had considerable swelling, also in the eye, due to the crash.
